Purchase Price: $9.99
Purchase Place: Kroger
Rating: 3.5
Pros: The blades rock. Very close shave. 1 more blade than Mach 3. Comes with free battery. It vibrates.
Cons: Long hairs get stuck in the blades. Expensive blades. Looks ugly. Out of date compared to the Fusion which has five blades.

I was with my buddy James shopping at Kroger one fine evening. I needed a razor. I have been using disposable razors most of my life, because they are cheap. I tried using an electric razor that I bought off eBay but I didn’t like it. I like having a close shave. I glanced at the Schick Quattro and noticed that it was on sale with the Kroger Plus card. It was hard to resist and only $0.50 more than the non powered version. James recommended this razor. I couldn’t say no…especially to James.

I rarely shave more than once a week. Sometimes I’ll go crazy because I’m bored or one patch of hair suddenly grew faster than another for some reason. I waited a week.

It was the smoothest shave I had in a long time. I never realized how quickly the cheap disposable razors dulled so quickly. The pulsating razor was great, although I’m not sure if the normal price of the Power version is worth getting over the Midnight version. My three gripes with this razor: One is that I’m not too keen with the color. I was shaving my *cough* and I noticed that longer hairs tend to get stuck behind the blades. Both of these are really not that important. My third gripe is that the razor blades cost about $15 for 4. Very important. I’m glad I got this over the Fusion because the razors for that cost even more.

I just can’t wait until they come out with a razor with 17 blades.
